Great Views, Better than Top of Europe
You have great views of all the mountains from here. It is better than the Top of Europe for views because you have the views of the Munch, Eiger, and Jungfrau from here. The cable car up here is spectacular too.

The Schilthorn -Piz Gloria ticket is a great value
Our B&B host provided us with the links for the transportation tickets and reservations for brunch. His advice was to take the early morning cable cars/gondolas and get an 0800 seating to avoid the crowds. Enjoy the sumptuous brunch first at the revolving restaurant, then venture to the 007 Museum and various look-out spots. It was a beautiful, clear September day and we were able to see the top of Mount Blanc in France. One of the great features is the signage that points out the names of the mountains that we can see. The Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau were clearly visible; just a different view than from the Wengen/Grindelwald side. We were glad to book this excursion after hearing about the cost and long waits for the Jungfrau Experience in the other valley. On a side note, I left a part of me at the top when one of my walking poles fell between the slats of a fence while I was juggling them with my camera. There are several hikes from that level or from Birg, which is further down the mountain, but being non-experienced hikers, we opted just to enjoy the scenery.

Not to be Missed
If you’re in the area it’s kind of a must-do., if for no other reason than to say you did it . It’s kind of a one in a lifetime thing. The summit destination is located 2,970 metres above sea level accessed by a series of cable cars. There is a great observation deck and the very cool 360-degree revolving restaurant as well a snack counter and a nice gift shop )good place to get a souvenir). The location played a prominent role in the 1969 James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and there is also some great interactive James Bond activities included. Overall it’s not to be missed in my opinion.

Experience at this activity
Place doesn’t give much information . Tourists can get lost easily because there are no signs in English or etc...Tour is expensive and you have to pay parking fee when you leave the place, which they also didn’t say anything about that either.Other than that the place is beautiful and has amazing views

QR Codes funktionierten nicht
Wir hatten ein Brunch-Seilbahnticket, aber die QR-Code funktionierten nirgendwo - die Mitarbeiter mussten uns 6 x am Gate manuell durchlassen, Info von dort - der QR-Code stamme aus einem alten System - nicht möglich, da wir die Tickets erst wenige Tage zuvor auf der offiziellen Website gekauft hatten. Bis wir in die Gondel zusteigen konnten, einer mit Gehbehinderung, war diese teilweise schon voll. Das ist inakzeptabel und sollte umgehend behoben werden - zumal das Problem schon im 2025 bestand. Ansonsten ist das ein empfehlenswerter Ausflug mit toller Aussicht, einiges zu unternehmen - thrill walk - ganz toll - James Bond Museum und Kino prima - Brunch Buffet soweit ok - hatte sehr viele Gäste

Great views! Fun thrill walk!
This was our second time going up to Schilthorn. It was cloudy when we visited last year, so since the ride was included with our Berner Oberland Pass, we decided to try again—and this time, the skies were perfectly clear! The views were incredible, and we absolutely loved it. We also stopped at Birg to do the Thrill Walk, which was so much fun!
