Starting with a convenient hotel pick-up, we'll whisk you away from Kriens to Sonnenberg, offering an unforgettable perspective of Lucerne during the funicular journey (available in summer only). Subsequently, our guide will lead you through an idyllic path. You'll have the opportunity to visit a farm and explore their shop, where you can acquire local produce. Additionally, we'll taste some of locally made cheese. At the end, your guide will ensure a safe return to the Lucerne Train Station.

Great tour guide
Joana Lisa took my wife and I on a walking tour of a Lucerne farm and cheese shop. Joana was really knowledgeable and friendly and we had a great time. I highly recommend Joana Lisa as a guide

Beautiful Hiking and Farm Tour
Our tour guide, Amalia, made this such a great experience. She met us at our hotel which made navigation and transportation very easy and not stressful. We rode a historic funicular up Sonnenberg. The views from the top and the dairy farms we visited were so beautiful. This tour involved a lot of walking/hiking through gorgeous scenery. Amalia knew exactly where to take us— no place we went to was touristy or crowded. She was a funny, engaging, and knowledgeable tour guide who spoke excellent English and put us all at ease. The picnic of farm-fresh products with a view of the mountains, lake, and city of Lucerne was a highlight of our entire 16-day trip through Europe. The cheese, fruit, and bread Amalia picked out was so delicious. We were able to see the well-cared-for cows up-close and hear the cowbells of more cows who were in the pastures. Walking through Swiss countryside and forest gave us so many different views and perspectives of the landscape. It was an ideal tour to spend time in nature, take a closer look at small dairy farms in Switzerland, and take gorgeous photos.

Country walk /swiss scenery
We went on the lake Lucerne panorama country walk. Our guide, Lou, was fabulous! My family (3 adult sons and husband) were apprehensive about another walking tour but they thoroughly enjoyed it. We saw beautiful scenery, villages, farms, farm animals and even a farm store where you could buy some fresh apple juice or ice cream. Would highly recommend tour if you want a taste of the Swiss countryside and also Lou as your guide!

Would highly recommend doing this tour with Zoie
Zoie was an amazing tour guide! She was very knowledgeable, but made the tour really fun. We had a wonderful time and it was the highlight of our trip so far.

Would highly recommend!
Jack was engaging and informative! I really felt as though this tour exposed me to a crevice of Lucerne that only locals would know of— I absolutely would not have been able to discover this on my own.

Phenomenal tour - 6 stars!
Dave was an AMAZING tour guide. We didn't know what to expect with this farm tour, but it went beyond our hopes. Walking through local farms, learning about the history of the region and eating delicious cheeses was unique, fun and entertaining. I would give this 6 stars or more if possible. Highly recommend!
