As Automation Engineer / Project Engineer for the Digital Manufacturing & Data Lab 100% (m/w/d), you will play a central role in building, operating, and advancing our laboratory environment for digital manufacturing solutions. You will combine expertise in process automation, simulation, and lab infrastructure to enable engineers, data scientists, and developers to design, test, and deploy innovative solutions. With a strong focus on PCS7-based automation systems, SIMIT simulations, and lab infrastructure, you will act as a technical allrounder bridging automation, IT/OT development systems, and user enablement. Your work will directly support experimentation, prototyping, and scaling of digital and automation solutions across TechOps and manufacturing. Your Tasks: Design, implement, and maintain the Digital Manufacturing & Data Lab infrastructure, including automation systems, virtualized environments, and network setups Develop, configure, and support Siemens PCS7 systems (incl.
