Enjoy a drive around some of the best countryside Switzerland has to offer. Start your journey in your private and exclusive Mercedes Mini Van. Let Chris drive you along the Brunig Pass, stopping off at Lungernsee to reach the spectacular Bernese Oberland. From there, choose the spectacular sights you want to visit ranging from the fascinating Aare Gorge which is 1’400 metres long and up to 200 metres deep. The Giessbach Falls are breath-taking as is the 150 year old Giessbach hotel for lunch overlooking Lake Brienz. Take a boat trip over to Brienz and stroll along Brungasse, one of Europe`s prettiest streets. Journey onto Interlaken for a souvenir stop and then go along the Lauterbrunnen valley to see the 300metre Staubbach Falls. Drive onto the Trummelbach Falls and witness waterfalls within a mountain and finally drive up to Isenfluh for some awesome views of the big 3 - Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau or go one further and take the cable car to Sulwald for more incredible views.

For the final and most stunning and breathtaking leg of this tour, drive back to Interlaken and take a left up to Isenfluh. Park and walk along the village and take is the beautiful vistas of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, commonly known as the Pearly whites all close or over 4000m high. Amazing

Great day in Switzerland
Chris is an outstanding tour guide. We did this tour with him in September 2026. He is extremely knowledgeable about Switzerland and will take you on a wonderful journey.

Absolutely outstanding tour — and an even more outstanding guide!
We took the Best of the Bernese Oberlands from Luzern tour on Monday, September 21, and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our 10-day European trip. Chris Wilson, the owner of Typically Swiss Tours, picked us up at our hotel and from the very beginning was friendly, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to share Switzerland with us. Chris didn’t just take us from one stop to the next. He talked with us, asked questions, listened to what interested each of us, and then looked for opportunities to add those personal touches along the way. My sister loves antiquing and thrifting, and when Chris learned that, he made a special stop at an adorable little antique shop that we never would have found on our own. Those spontaneous additions made the day feel like it was designed specifically for us. What really stood out, though, was how wonderful Chris was with my 80-year-old mom. She is still very active and loves to travel, but she has slowed down a little. Chris never made her feel rushed or like she was holding anyone back. Instead, he took the time to talk with her, asked her tons of questions, and genuinely included her in the experience. When we needed a little extra time, he simply extended our day because he wanted to make sure we got to experience as much of Switzerland as possible. And that is what I think makes Chris so special. He clearly doesn't just conduct tours—he loves Switzerland and loves sharing it with people. His enthusiasm is contagious, and his knowledge, flexibility, and personal attention made the entire day feel incredibly special. This was our first tour of the trip, followed by a Rhine river cruise, and when we asked everyone afterward what their favorite part of the trip was, our day with Chris was the unanimous answer. And the best part? We completely fell in love with Switzerland. We already know we will be coming back, and we are thrilled that Chris will be showing us more of Switzerland when we return. I can't think of a better person to have introduce us to this beautiful country. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Chris and Typically Swiss Tours. If you are visiting Switzerland, book with him.

Absolute Gold Standard! The Best Private Guide/Driver We’ve Ever Had.
We are so incredibly glad we found Chris! We were a group of six friends in our 60s, and we booked a two-day tour with TST. From my very first inquiry months before our trip, Chris stood out. His communication was flawless, and his genuine enthusiasm was evident right from the start. We had several calls where he shared tailored recommendations and patiently answered all of our questions. On the road, Chris was a breath of fresh air—full of energy, incredibly humorous, and completely flexible. If we wanted to linger at a specific spot, he adjusted the itinerary without hesitation. Best of Bernese Oberland's from Luzern - was the best!
This was an excellent tour. We had never booked a private tour however; we are more likely to use private tours giving our experience with Chris of Typically Swiss Tours. We truly appreciated his knowledge and understanding of the tour. We were truly looking forward to this tour and Chris delivered. We highly recommend him.

This tour was incredible
I can’t speak highly enough of this tour. Chris was wonderful and we saw things in our single day that easily would have taken us 2-3 days by ourselves. Switzerland is absolutely beautiful and Chris made our experience that much more incredible. Don’t hesitate when thinking about booking a day with Chris.

Chris is a fabulous guide. He really knows the area well and does a wonderful job showing off all the beauty that is Switzerland. We learned so much, had some laughs and came to appreciate all there is to see and do in this lovely country. I’d highly recommend Chris to show you around and make an enjoyable experience you’ll never forget.
