About this role

Job Description: McDonald's, the world's largest restaurant chain, is an innovative and people-oriented company backed by a leading multinational brand. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for talented individuals to strengthen our head offices, which support our restaurants across the country. To complement its Develoment Department based in Crissier, McDonald's Switzerland is looking to fill the role of: Consultant Construction (100%) In this exciting role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the full permitting process for new store openings (NSO) as well as major renovation and reconstruction projects for McDonald's Switzerland. You will ensure that all building permits are submitted and obtained in compliance with McDonald's global standards and specifications. Key responsabilities Lead the submission of building permit applications and ensure their timely approval in accordance with established processes Collaborate closely with architects, external partners, and internal stakeholders to secure required approvals Oversee the preparation of architectural plans and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements Manage and track all administrative aspects of ongoing permitting procedures Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to approved permits and specifications Track project budgets and review/validate invoices from architects and external experts Act as the primary point of contact for architects, site managers, and real estate representatives Work cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success Organize your work with strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset Your Profile Education: Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Architecture; alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in construction project management (as an engineer, project manager, or architect) Languages: Native German speaker with excellent command of English and/or French Project Management: Proven ability to independently manage projects from initiation to completion Interpersonal Skills: Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities Communication: Confident presenter with the ability to influence and drive decisions Personal Attributes: Agile, flexible, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment; autonomous while maintaining a collaborative mindset Tools: Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheet) With Us, You Get the Following Benefits Flexible working: flexible hours and the possibility to work remotely based on business needs.
