Overview
Known as the Queen of the Mountains, Mount Rigi rises above Lake Lucerne, with the Swiss Alps on one side and the lakes and lowlands on the other. On this private day trip from Zurich, you will cross Lake Lucerne by boat and then ride Europe's first mountain railway, a cog train that has climbed to the summit since 1871, up to Rigi Kulm at 1,800 meters.
