Overview
Private 8-hour day trip from Zurich to two countries in one day: Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, and Heidiland around Maienfeld, home of the famous Heidi story. With a professional driver, just for your group, with door-to-door pickup and drop-off at your hotel or any address in Zurich. About 2 hours in Vaduz with its Old Town and the Prince's castle seen from outside, and about 2 hours in the Heidi village among the vineyards. Choose a Mercedes car for 1 to 3 travelers, a Mercedes V-Class for up to 5, or a Ford Transit for 6 to 8. Fuel, tolls and parking are included and child seats are free on request. Itinerary
Your driver picks you up at your hotel or any address in Zurich and contacts you beforehand by WhatsApp or phone. Drive along Lake Zurich and Lake Walen to Vaduz, the capital of the Principality of Liechtenstein. About 2 hours in Vaduz: walk the car-free Old Town, see Vaduz Castle, the residence of the Prince (viewed from outside, not open to visitors), the Cathedral and the Government House, and get a Liechtenstein passport stamp at the tourist office. Continue to Maienfeld in Heidiland for about 2 hours: walk the Heidi trail through vineyards and visit the Heidi village and Heidi House (entry not included). Return to your hotel in Zurich in the late afternoon. Stops and timing can be adjusted to your wishes. About 8 hours in total.
