Very disappointing and not worth the money. Our guide, while pleasant and knowledgeable when we asked questions, provided us with very little information. He seemed to expect us to ask him questions rather than provide us with information; we kept walking by other tours with guides talking about different sights and he said nothing. It was a four hour tour that ended with a one hour boat ride. After two hours, he basically said “we are done” and we killed time having soft drinks at a hotel (and we paid the bill!). The boat ride was nice. He just didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. We spent a lot of money for the tour (and hoped to learn a lot about Luzerne) but got little out of it. If this was our first Viator tour, it would be our last. We were quite upset by the experience.

A diverse tour of an amazing city, Alex was a competent guide to educate us about Switzerland history along with what distinguishes Lucerne. It was diverse in that the tour mixed time spent in the old & new parts of town, and even a lovely boat ride on Lake Lucerne. Alex concluded the tour by giving us restaurant recommendations, we followed one and loved it!
