Lugano is Switzerland with an Italian heart — a city on a lake where the piazzas matter as much as the mountains. This app-led scavenger hunt takes you through Lugano on foot, using phone-based riddles to guide you from one landmark to the next. No guide, no fixed start time. • Solve riddles at the Kathedrale San Lorenzo, the Piazza Riforma with its elegant Rathaus, and the lakeside 'I love Lugano' installation — faith, civic architecture, and waterfront character • Walk through Lugano at your own pace, no timetable, no guide • Perfect for couples, families, and groups of any size Available in 24 languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian — see the full list when booking and choose yours when you start the game in the app. Around 2 hours - any group size. Программа
Starting at Piazzale Stazione, 6900 Lugano, Switzerland, open the Explorial app and enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message. The riddles take you downhill from the station through a city that feels considerably more Mediterranean than its Swiss passport suggests. Your first landmark is the Kathedrale San Lorenzo, Lugano's cathedral perched above the old town with a Renaissance facade that belies its Romanesque origins — the interior's frescoed chapels and gilded altars are among the finest in the Ticino. From there the app guides you to the Piazza Riforma, the main square where the Palazzo Civico — Lugano's town hall — faces the open space with a confident neoclassical simplicity, and where the city's café life plays out against a backdrop of dignified civic architecture. The route concludes at the 'I love Lugano' installation on the lakefront, a playful contemporary landmark whose heart-shaped letters frame views across Lago di Lugano to the mountains of Italy on the far shore. Around 2 hours on foot, with a gentle downhill walk toward the lake and an easy return by funicular or on foot.
