Starting at Barfüsserplatz, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and step into Basel's compact old town. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city. The Tinguely-Brunnen performs first: nine mischievous machine-sculptures splashing away where a theatre stage once stood. Riddles move to their rhythm. Up by the Münster, the Pfalz terrace opens over the Rhine — swimmers drifting past in summer, Germany and France on the horizon. Trivia takes in the view. Then the Rathaus glows scarlet over the Marktplatz, its frescoed courtyard and golden tower daring you not to stare. Around two hours between fountain and river. Ferry across the Rhine afterwards — the leaderboard results travel well.

Self-guided Tour with a Competitive Twist
Who is really a fun way to discover interesting sites in Basel. All the guided tours were booked so we are looking for something that would teach us about what we were looking at.

Fun way to discover the city
Fun way to see different parts of the beautiful city that I probably would not have found otherwise on my own. The Scavenger Hunt also makes you stop and take in the detail. Highly recommend.

Great for a day out!
Our family had a great day using this app. The interactive features, like scavenger hunts and photo challenges, kept our kids excited and engaged. We discovered fascinating historical tidbits and local legends. Highly recommend for a fun and educational day out!

Miese abzocke
Man sollte am Anfang sagen das jeder Teilnehmer ein Handy braucht! Ich wollte mit meinen Patenkind (6 Jahre alt) eine Schnitzeljagd machen. Nach der Buchung (mindest teilnehmerzahl 2 Personen) ist eine SMS gekommen mit einem Code für die Buchung, dieser funktioniert aber nur wenn ihn 2 Personen in 2 Handys eingeben! Also habe ich probiert mit dem Kundenservice Kontakt aufzunehmen, kann man sich auch sparen. Entweder das ist ein Bot oder eine Person die mein Anliegen / Problem nicht verstanden hat. Reagieren auf die Fragen tut auch keiner mehr, es ging drum ob man mir das auch freischalten kann für ein Handy. Bevor ihr an eurem Handy durch die Stadt lauft, spart euch die 30 Euro. Investiert sie in gutes Essen und setzt euch damit an den Rhein.

Rätsel statt Tourguide
Ich reise gerne in nahegelegene Städte für ein Wochenende. Mit den Schnitzeljagden habe ich nun den perfekten "Tourguide" gefunden - ich kann mir die Zeit selbst einteilen, zwischendurch Kaffee trinken und lerne eine Menge Neues.
