Обзор
Thun stacks a 12th-century castle above a medieval market street with raised sidewalks — and drops the whole arrangement beside a turquoise Alpine lake with the Eiger on the horizon. This app-led scavenger hunt takes you through Thun on foot, using phone-based riddles to guide you from one landmark to the next. No guide, no fixed start time. • Cross the Rathausplatz, the arcaded square at the foot of the castle hill • Climb to Schloss Thun, the white keep with four corner towers above the roofs • Visit the Stadtkirche, whose octagonal tower watches over lake and old town Available in 24 languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian — see the full list when booking and choose yours when you start the game in the app. Around 2 hours - any group size. By the last riddle, the gateway to the Bernese Oberland will have opened up completely.

Программа
Starting at Bahnhofstrasse 3, near Thun's station, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and make for the old town. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city. On the Rathausplatz, the riddles start among arcades and flower-decked facades, with the castle looming photogenically above every answer. Then it's up the covered stairs to Schloss Thun, the 12th-century Zähringen keep whose four corner towers have become the town's signature — the knight's hall and the views both reward the climb. The Stadtkirche completes the skyline: its rare octagonal tower has watched over Thun since the Middle Ages, and its terrace looks out across the Aare to the Alps. Around 2 hours between castle, church, and riverbanks, with Aare-side breaks encouraged. By the end, Thun will feel like the perfect first chapter of the Bernese Oberland.

Scavenger Hunt Tuna with Children
I was with my children (7, 9, 11j) on a scavenger hunt through tuna and it was great fun for us. Everyone could think along and the puzzles were interesting and insightful. A picture we didn't find partout and would have liked to know where that was. Two other places were just undergoing refurbishment, which is why not everything was quite findable and why we lost points. But that was not bad at all and the description to the next place we could follow up well. We want to do more scavenger hunts in other cities.

Empfehlenswert!
