Zurich sightseeing offers you a walk through the Bahnhofstrasse, one of the world’s most popular avenues. The time that you may spend in Zurich can turn into a real adventure. The Old town (Altstadt) will give you a unique vibe of the past with its perfectly preserved, beautiful, narrow streets, medieval houses, fashion boutiques, souvenir and bookstores. Passing alongside the Paradeplatz Square in the downtown, where the luxurious hotels are located. Here you can admire the evangelical Church Grossmuenster – one of the famous Swiss landmarks. Access the top of the church towers and have splendid panoramic views over the city with Limmat River and Zurich Lake. Take your time and capture some photos of the memorable scenery. Not far from here, in the heart of Zurich, you can find the Fraumunster Church and Cloister. Certainly, it will make you breathless by the stained-glass windows painted by Marc Chagall. Niederdorf is counted as the best part of the Old Town. Here, the culture meets the history; car-free old alleys, ancient bookstores and art galleries. This place also offers special entertainments during the night time.

Great tour!
Samantha was an incredible guide! Fun, knowledgeable, and kept us awake despite being up for 30 hours. She got us out and about and we had an amazing time! Definitely book with her!

A fantastic walking tour of Zurich
“Pie” our driver was outstanding, timely and personable. Our tour guide David was extremely knowledgeable and was able to discuss the culture and history eloquently. Extremely pleased with both men and the walking tour.

Great introduction to Zurich!
As a travel advisor, I booked this walking tour for my clients (2 adults and 1 teen). They absolutely loved it! The guide picked them up from their hotel and walked them around. They loved how knowledgable the guide was and all of the history and information he provided to them. Even the teen was engaged and had a great time!.

Zurich walking tour

Best driver
Payam, our driver, was thoughtful, helpful, took us to the train gate, explained the system. Very helpful! Car was spotless, a/c was nice.

AinGreat Zurich Tour with AlpExcursions
AlpExcursion provided our driver on arrival from the Zurich Airport, the guide for our walking tour of Zurich, and our driver for the day. David, our walking tour guide was exceptional. He has an entertaining personality and was well trained for our tour. We had a 2-hour walking tour that provided an exceptional overview of Zurich city center. David is highly recommended to all. Alex was our driver today who picked us at the Dolder Grand Hotel for our meeting with David. Alex then took us a boat ride on Lake Zurich and then to the Adliswil-Felsensegg aerial cable car which provided wonderful panorama of Lake Zurich and the Zurich area. We also had an authentic and delicious Swiss lunch at the top of the cable ride. The Mercedes cars provided by AlpExcursions and all new and impressively maintained. AlpExcurion is highly recommended for your visit to Zurich.
