Perfect day exploring with Alex

Our private tour with Alex was perfect. He met us at our hotel and we discussed some options for an itinerary based on what we had already done in Zermatt and how we were feeling. We started with a trip up to Glacier Paradise where Alex shared information about the impressive landscape and shared his own anecdotes as a ski instructor in Zermatt. We then took the gondola down to a lower station and hiked through the lovely countryside, across a suspension bridge and through picturesque forests before stopping for lunch in Blatten. Finally we walked back to our hotel. Alex was warm, personable and knowledgeable. I would recommend this experience to anyone!

Travel With a Knowledgeable and Enthusiastic Guide

Pete was a fantastic tour guide sharing Zermatt, Matterhorn and all the beautiful mountains through a great hike and gondola rides. He was knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He was a good identifier of plants and attentive to special needs (one guest had altitude issues) making things go very smoothly. Pete was also a great photographer capturing the special fun moments!! We highly recommend him to lead you through this spectacular region!!

My majestic tour with Ivana Parchuc from My Mountains!

I had an unforgettable day in Zermatt thanks to my incredible private guide, Ivana Parchuc. She reached out before my arrival to introduce herself and confirm every detail, which meant so much to me as a solo traveler. Ivana went above and beyond from the start — even securing a last‑minute tandem paraglide experience that became one of the highlights of my entire trip. On the day of our hike, she arrived early, fully prepared, and handled all train and entrance tickets so I could simply enjoy the journey. We took the Gornergrat cogwheel train to breathtaking 360° alpine views, then hiked through a stunning nature reserve where the Matterhorn reflected perfectly in crystal‑clear lakes. Ivana shared rich history about Zermatt, the canton, local wildlife, and even brought books to show photos of the animals and flowers we encountered. She gave me all the time I needed to soak in the scenery, took beautiful photos of me, checked in often, and made sure I felt comfortable and unrushed. Our peaceful picnic overlooking the Matterhorn was unforgettable — and the paraglide that followed was pure magic. Afterward, Ivana continued guiding me through Zermatt’s old and new town, sharing stories and history that brought the village to life. Ivana delivered the most epic, seamless, joy‑filled day I could have imagined. Her kindness, knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm made this experience extraordinary. I would recommend her 100/10 — truly a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ guide. Thank you, Ivana! I will forever remember you!

Pete is the Best!

Pete was phenomenal! He contacted us the day before our hike to confirm the plan for the day and ensure we had all the details including a link for the local weather forecast. He met us at our hotel the next morning right on time and we immediately felt comfortable with him. We walked to the cog train and boarded for the trip to Gornergrat. Once on top, we quickly learned that Pete has a wealth of knowledge of the area and its history. He guided us through breathtaking scenery and helped us capture some absolutely stunning pictures (he has a photographer’s eye). Throughout our hike, he kept us informed, engaged in delightful conversation, and kept us well nourished with some delicious home made chocolate he brought for the hike. We cannot say enough great things about Pete. He definitely helped make it an absolutely memorable day! Thanks Pete!

Having an excellent guide elevates an already terrific experience.

My wife and I had a terrific experience with Jack Jennings on a nearly full-day Gornergrat hiking and Alpine sightseeing tour. The day featured breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, the iconic Matterhorn, and several historic sites and buildings around Zermatt. After exploring Gornergrat, we made our way back toward Zermatt with a series of well-chosen stops along the railway for spectacular viewpoints and photo opportunities. We also enjoyed an easy hike through beautiful forests and countryside, allowing us to experience the area at a relaxed pace. Jack was exceptionally knowledgeable, attentive to our interests and abilities, and skilled at tailoring the day to make it both enjoyable and memorable. Beyond being a highly qualified guide, he was simply great company—friendly, engaging, and someone you genuinely enjoy spending a day with. We would highly recommend Jack to anyone looking for a first-rate guide in the Zermatt area.

This tour is a highlight!

Jack Jennings is an outstanding guide. He's very personable and very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Switzerland and Zermatt. We had a somewhat challenging hike, but he paced it perfectly to suit our senior legs. Great tour, great guide, great day on the mountain with him.
