Wonderful and Interesting
The museum is fantastic. Modern building and interesting exhibits across three floors. The ticketing staff were very friendly and I appreciated they spoke with me in English. Tickets were included in the Swiss Travel Pass (highly recommend). Exhibits were very informative and it was a real treat to experience. The outdoor spaces are so unique! Tried (and failed) on the 100m track! The gift shop was a bit price but to be expected! You won’t be disappointed in visiting this lovely museum.

A faire
Prévoir au moins 2h. Visite très intéressante dans l'histoire des JO été/hiver avec une collection de médailles, torches et vêtements/accessoires. Vue sur le lac de l'extérieur (accès gratuit au parc). Attention il faut monter!

A fascinating visit, even without being a big sports specialist.
We loved the visit to the Olympic Museum! The exhibition is very rich and allows you to discover the history of the Olympic Games, their evolution over the editions, and everything that revolves around Olympism. There are a huge number of things to see: historical objects, sports equipment, medals, outfits, archives, and numerous interactive contents. It is very well presented and varied enough for the visit to remain interesting throughout the tour. A visit that we really enjoyed and that we recommend when passing through Lausanne.

A Journey Through Olympic History
If you want to experience the real history of the Olympic Games, you should definitely visit this museum. It takes you through the history of the Games, from their origins in ancient Greece more than 2,000 years ago to the modern Olympics. A very interesting and inspiring place for anyone who loves sports and Olympic history.

Imperative for any sports and Olympic Games fan
Having participated in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, we were looking forward to visiting this museum. The historical part on the first floor is really very interesting. The ground floor presents objects and outfits that belonged to the greatest athletes. As for the temporary exhibition, it was average. We regretted seeing nothing about the pins, which is a subject that fascinates crowds at every Olympic Games.
