Fund Controller - Technical Solutions Job Summary We are looking for a Fund Controller - Technical Solutions who combines strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of private equity fund operations. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to technical innovation and core fund controlling activities. You will actively build and maintain financial models, enhance forecasting tools, and develop automation solutions that improve our daily operations. At the same time, you will perform essential fund controlling tasks as part of the daily business. Your ability to combine a strong grasp of fund controlling fundamentals with advanced technical skills will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities Actively build and maintain advanced financial models and client reporting Maintain and further develop forecasting tools to support cash flow planning Work with existing Microsoft solutions (Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot) and other tools to develop automation for daily business tasks and recurring reviews performed by the team Implement and enhance data integration between external parties and internal systems to ensure efficiency Oversee daily operations of multiple private equity funds, including capital calls and distributions, while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders Manage liquidity, cash movements, and credit facilities in coordination with administrators and banking partners Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements as well as capital accountstatements Drive quarterly valuation processes by liaising with General Partners, updating valuation models, and preparing materials for valuation committees Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Strong technical skills: Advanced Excel, VBA, SQL; experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is highly desirable Proven experience in building and maintaining complex financial models and automation solutions 2–4 years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or fund operations; exposure to private equity Understanding of private equity fund structures and partnership accounting principles Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Ideal Candidate Profile You are a hands-on technical finance professional who thrives on building models, drive automation, andleveraging tools like Power BI and Power Automate to make fund operations smarter and faster. Youunderstand the fundamentals of private equity fund management and can apply that knowledge to designsolutions that improve accuracy and efficiency.
