Start your tour at the Sihlquai Bus Station in Zurich. Set off for an exciting day traveling through picturesque landscapes and along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the enchanting city of Lucerne.

Once arriving in Lucerne, enjoy a brief orientation drive, where your guide points out the main attractions of this charming town like the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church and the Culture and Convention Centre (KKL). Enjoy the following time at leisure to stroll through Lucerne's beautiful Old Town.

Continuation to Kriens, where you take the panoramic gondola and aerial cable car to the top of Mount Pilatus at 7000 feet (2132 meters). Enjoy some time at leisure admiring breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains and lakes. Venture down the Dragon's Path and make the short hike to the summit before descending Mount Pilatus to Alpnachstad by cogwheel railway. At a gradient of 48% it is the world's steepest!

Please check in at least 15 minutes before departure at the “Best of Switzerland Tours” counter with your QR code on your voucher ready, printed or electronically.

Beautiful!!
The most beautiful place we have ever seen. The scenery was incredible and ride up was exciting. No better views. Lake Lucerne is a great and we loved the town of Lucerne.

Amazing tour to be remembered for a lifetime!
So glad I found this tour on Trip Advisor. We were in Zurich for a couple of days and needed something to do. I had heard Mount Pilatus was a great place to see. It was a long day, so having someone else take care of the driving and an experienced guide was well worth the money. From Zurich, it's a bit of a drive but seeing Lucerne was amazing. Had some free time before heading up the mountain. Cable car ride up was breathtaking! Plenty of time to walk around, have some lunch and enjoy the amazing views. Riding down the mountain in the steepest cogwheel train was also a fun experience. Our tour guide, Bjorn, was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer any and all questions. This tour was definitely the highlight of our time in Switzerland.

Fabulous 10/10!
Wonderful day full of multiple experiences! Nice that tickets for all were purchased in advance so no hassles there. Just the right amount of free time in Lucerne and at Mt.Pilatus. Tomas our guide was wonderful- friendly, informative, and kept things moving. I would highly recommend this full day adventure!!

Wonderful day
Bus pick up at 9 sharp, returned 7;30. It was a long ride to Lucero through small towns which was lovely but I was nauseous from all the winding roads. Lucerna was beautiful. There was a fair that day, which was really nice a lot of different foods and vendors. we walked over the bridge which is covered in flowers. It is beautiful and took loads of pictures along the river. The golden ticket is the gondola up the river, very steep train down the mountain and an oat ride back to Lucerne. All beautiful

Great organized tour to Mount Pilatus
Our family of 4 did this tour today from Zurich. Best of Switzerland Tours kept in touch with me with reminders and information after my initial booking. Our tour guide was Sofia and she did a fantastic job with her guiding and commentary. She managed a large group of people perfectly in multiple languages. We considered doing this tour on our own but then decided to have everything looked after by a tour company. We are so happy we did. We had no worries the whole day. We loved our time in picturesque Lucerne. The cable car ride up Mount Pilatus was amazing. The views from above were breathtaking The highlight of the trip was the cogwheel train down the mountain. We finished off with a beautiful boat tour back to Lucerne. We had a wonderful day and made many special memories. Highly recommend Best of Switzerland tours.

Exceptional
This is an exceptional experience, the price is worth it. It's a must thing to do in Switzerland. We enjoyed the small and huge gondola ride going to mt. Pilatus, experienced the world's steepest cogwheel railway ride going down. We saw the stunning chapel bridge in Lucerne and had a restful cruise in lake Lucerne.
