Wengen is a lovely car-free mountain town at 1274m (4 180ft). It's located on a big cliff between Lauterbrunnen and Männlichen so the views are just stunning. Me and my little dog friend would like to take you to the most charming part of town. This is where the first residents of Wengen settled, now a small habitat of a few farms. This place will show us the true beauty of the Swiss alpine countryside from old days, full of cheese from local farms and animals grazing grass around. Along the way, we will have beautiful views on famous Lauterbrunnen valley, Jungfrau, Mürren, Schiltorn (from old James Bond movie) and learn about it, so you will get bunch of tips what to do in next days of your stay. However, views and informative aspect of the tour are not everything - we will pass trust shop on local farm, where we will have opportunity to buy ice cream, cheese and cold cuts directly from the farmer. Prepare some cash for this occasion because they are truly delicious!

We will pass a local farm, where we will have opportunity to buy ice cream, cheese and cold cuts directly from the farmer. It's good to take some CASH with you as the farm shop takes only cash payments (CHF or EUR)

Did you know that since 1930 the longest and most difficult Ski Slalom in Europe - the International Ski World Cup "Lauberhorn race" is taking place exactly in Wengen every year? We will have the opportunity to see with our own eyes how steep slopes skiers from all over the world face every year.

A viewpoint on a cliff surrounded by enclosures with animals such as alpacas, llamas, goats, and chickens. From there, you can see two record-breaking long waterfalls in the world.

We will meet by WENGEN Trainstation in front of the toilets. There is NO possibility to DRIVE to Wengen. There is no road going to this town, but a TRAIN FROM LAUTERBRUNNEN. This 11min of pictures ride is inluded in Swiss Travel Pass or will costs you 7.20 chf. Departue every 30min: 9:30, 10:00 ...

Wonderful Wengen with Weronica
Spent a wonderful morning with Weronica and her little dog Bunny. Weronica is a wealth of knowledge, has a warm, lovely personality, and is most professional. I would definitely recommend this experience for others!

Great views with a great guide!
Great tour and the views were amazing! Our tour guide and her little dog made us feel right at home while missing our dog! The ice cream/cheese stop was an added bonus! We enjoyed the cheese on the train out of town the next day. Highly recommend!

Great Experience…
Weronika was a great and lovely guide. She showed us the country side and we had a lovely experience. Her puppy Bonnie was adorable and added to the whole experience A very good guide with a warm and loving nature. Truly enjoyed the experience.

Nice trek through Swiss village
During our stay at Lauterbrunnen wanted to explore a Swiss Village. This trek turned out to be a nice way to do this. The guide had good knowledge. The trek was through roads winding through farms, houses and water streams. Our 7 year old daughter also enjoyed this. Will definitely recommend this trip to explore Swiss villages beyond the touristy points.
