Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn were regular guests. Sean Connery and politicians such as Jimmy Carter and Henry Kissinger have also been guests at the Bürgenstock. Qatar's sovereign wealth fund has completely renovated the hotel complex in recent years and added 30 new buildings. A spa and a golf course are part of the Bürgenstock Resort.
