Lake Lungern

Here we will make a short stop for pictures from an amazing viewpoint. Lake Lungern (Lungerersee) is a serene and picturesque alpine lake in the canton of Obwalden, Switzerland. Nestled at 750 meters above sea level, it is surrounded by lush green hills and charming Swiss villages, offering stunning natural beauty. The lake is known for its crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming, fishing, and boating during the summer months. Its idyllic setting makes it a popular destination for hiking and relaxing, with scenic trails offering breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding mountains.

Grindelwald Terminal

Here we will park the vehicle and start the accent to the Mountain ️. Here you will also have the opportunity to purchase any snacks or souvenirs.

Jungfraujoch Top of Europe

We will leave the terminal in a cable car which will take us to the highest train station in all of Europe (Eigergletcher station) then we will hop on a cogwheel train and continue to the Top of Europe! At the top we will explore the whole mountain including snow fun activities, zip line fun, and the Famous Ice Cave (Ice Palace) among great view points for plenty of picture taking! We will also visit the Observatory once we take an elevator that will take us to the very Top of Europe !

Lauterbrunnen

Once we come down we will head to Lauterbrunnen Home to the highest waterfall in Europe. Great time for pictures at this amazing picturesque village. Lauterbrunnen is a stunning village in the heart of the Swiss Alps, often called the “Valley of 72 Waterfalls” due to its dramatic cliffs and cascading waterfalls, including the iconic Staubbach Falls. Surrounded by towering peaks and lush green meadows, it offers a quintessential alpine experience. Lauterbrunnen is a gateway to famous mountain destinations like Jungfraujoch and Schilthorn, and it’s popular for hiking, skiing, and exploring its charming chalets and local traditions. Its breathtaking natural beauty has inspired visitors and artists alike, making it a must-visit destination in Switzerland.

Interlaken

On our way back we will also stop at Interlaken to the Main Street and the point where Lake Brienz and Lake Thun meet. Interlaken is a picturesque resort town in Switzerland, situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Renowned as a hub for adventure and outdoor activities, it offers everything from paragliding and hiking to boat cruises on its pristine lakes. Its charming streets are lined with traditional Swiss chalets, boutique shops, and cozy restaurants. Interlaken serves as a gateway to the Bernese Oberland, making it a perfect base for exploring the Alps and enjoying Switzerland’s natural beauty.

Luxury day tour to Jungfraujoch
My family and I had an amazing day touring Jungfraujoch and the Aareschlucht with Sierra Luxury Tours! Everything was well organized, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. A huge thank you to our guide, Fernando, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. We highly recommend Sierra Luxury Tours and would definitely book with them again!

Absolutely amazing tour with Fernando! Spectacular scenery and wonderful personalised service!
We have just returned from a 4 week family holiday in Europe doing daily tours with fabulous guides in amazing locations, and our 2 days with Fernando were a definite highlight of our trip! We booked the Jungfraujoch tour with him via Viator initially, and then added a Bernese Oberland Tour with the company directly. Both tours were absolutely spectacular! Fernando is a brilliant and knowledgeable guide - he tailors the tour to suit your requests, does his research and plans everything beautifully to ensure you have the best possible experience. We saw so much in our brief 2 days with him, and it would never have been possible to achieve this on our own or with a standard less knowledgeable guide. There is so much attention to detail from start to finish - the communication prior to your tour, the quality and comfort of the transport, and your experience on the day. We were totally blown away by the spectacular beauty of the places we visited with Fernando, and extremely impressed by the quality of the service he provides his guests. Switzerland is expensive (especially when coming from Australia!), but Fernando made the experience feel bespoke and worth the expense! We are so happy we discovered Sierra through Viator - they actually offer multi-country multi-day tours, and we will definitely look at booking this type of comprehensive service with Fernando when next in Europe!

Outstanding Experience with Fernando!

Wonderful trip in rainy weather
My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of spending four days with Fernando. Fernando is professional, caring, considerate and thinks of everything. He was flexible and had numerous options for us if the crowds were too big or the weather was not cooperating. (We had rain, lots of rain🤣) He always knew great places to eat. It was clear Fernando had developed relationships with many of the restaurant owners. He was clearly well liked and respected by them. We've had several driver/guides previously and none compared to the quality of knowledge and driving skills of Fernando. Fernando shared his love of Switzerland with us which helped to make our time with him even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a driver/guide with knowledge and the ability to converse, Fernando is your guy!

Fernando for the Win!
Fernando is the very best! I strongly recommend booking with him for a fun, safe, and informative experience. He went above and beyond to make our trip special. He knew all the spots, was timely throughout the whole day, and was fun to be around. On top of everything, Fernando is a great person and very knowledgeable about the area. Because of him, our family has life long memories and amazing photos. I highly recommend booking a tour or two with Fernando. You won’t regret it!
