Enjoy a drive around some of the best countryside Switzerland has to offer. Start your journey in your private and exclusive Mercedes Mini Van. Let Chris drive you along the Brunig Pass, stoppijng off at Lungernsee to reach the spectacular Bernese Oberland. From there, choose the spectacular sights you want to visit ranging from the fascinating Aare Gorge which is 1’400 metres long and up to 200 metres deep. The Giessbach Falls are breath-taking as is the 150 year old Giessbach hotel for lunch overlooking Lake Brienz. Take a boat trip over to Brienz and stroll along Brungasse, one of Europe`s prettiest streets. Journey onto Interlaken for a souvenir stop and then go along the Lauterbrunnen valley to see the 300metre Staubbach Falls. Drive onto the Trummelbach Falls and witness waterfalls within a mountain and finally drive up to Isenfluh for some awesome views of the big 3 - Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau or go one further and take the cable car to Sulwald for more incredible views.

Visit the Aare gorge, one of the most stunning gorges. Take a 50 minute walk through the gorge and marvel at the steep cliffs and the milky river running through. Admission is subsidised at 6chf.

Giessbach Falls

Journey onto one of the most beautiful settings in Central Switzerland. Visit the stunning tiered waterfalls and walk under the falls themselves. Have a delicious lunch at the 200 year old majestic hotel and then take some photos overlooking Lake Brienz. Then after that, take a free ride on the oldest funicular in Europe to the boat, taking you to Brienz where Chris will be waiting for you.

Drive along Hohweg, pass the grand Victorian hotels and watch the Paragliders land. Make a short stop for a souvenir before driving on

Drive through the mesmerising valley onto Lauterbrunnen and walk to the enchanting Staubbach Falls to see wisps of water fall from 300metres. Take a walk up the cliff to get within 10 metres of the water. Walk back to the car park passing the most beautiful cemetery in Switzerland,

Trummelbach Falls

Drive 2 km from Lauterbrunnen Centre and arrive at the unique Trummelbach Falls, known for being waterfalls within a mountain - the only one in Europe. See over 10 chutes of water crashing through the rock at great speed causing erosion which has been happening for thousands of years. Admission 11chf

Isenfluh

For the final and most stunning and breathtaking leg of this tour, drive back to Interlaken and take a left up to Isenfluh. Park and walk along the village and take is the beautiful vistas of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, commonly known as the Pearly whites all close or over 4000m high. Amazing

Chris' tours are a must-do in Switzerland
Chris was an amazing guide for our stay in the Interlaken area. Chris took us on a three-day tour across the Bernese Oberland region and lake towns like Lucerne and Brienz. Our tours were jam-packed full of breathtaking sights and Chris knew when and where to take us for the best experience. We had a large group of all ages, and Chris was able to make it flexible for all abilities. He picked us up at our chalet each day and dropped us off at the end of each day. He went above and beyond -- spoke with site operators on our behalf and helped us navigate each experience with ease. Chris is extremely fluent in Swiss German and knows all the ins and outs of the area. Highly recommend!

Excellent Private Tours from Wengen
I am a travel advisor who booked two privately guided tours with Chris for clients during their stay in Wengen - Bernese Oberland Discovery Tour + Swiss Lakes + Adventure Day. His communication was great and preparation ahead of travel made us all feel at ease that the days were going to be lovely. We were able to tailor the itineraries to my clients interests and provide opportunitie for them to let the day unfold with some surprises as well. My clients really enjoyed both of their days with Chris, he is a wealth of knowledge, flexible and great resource to have while you are staying in the region. I will definitely be using Chris again for guests visiting Switzerland.

Awesome Private Tour
This was the best private tour we have taken as a family. Chris took us places that we never would of visited on our own and each place was truly breathtaking. The views, the food, the history, and the people we met while on the tour, were all awesome. From the first conversation to the end of the tour, the communication with Chris was great. If you are looking for a private tour that is going to exceed your expectations, along with tons of laughs along the way, this is the tour for you. This tour was definitely a highlight of our vacation.

The best Switzerland private tour with the best guide!
We just had an incredible day with Chris! 8 months ago I reached out after seeing all the incredible reviews. I was on another vacation and messaged late at night not expecting to hear back for a couple days. Within minutes I received an email reply and then we chatted and had a call to discuss the options. We corresponded throughout the months and ended up with a day perfectly tailored to my desires with amazing off the beaten path spots added in. I can’t recommend Chris highly enough. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, professional, accommodating, fun and the list goes on and on. And add a side of humor to that. You’ll be in the best hands and feel like you’re traveling with a long lost friend. Your stupid if you dont book with Chris Wilson!
I have been fortunate to be able to have numerous private drivers throughout my traveling vacations. To me, Chris was the best by far! His personality, flexibilty and knowledge of the country are exceptional. We wasn't a "guide", he quickly became a friend. In our pre trip conversation I told him "my wish list" of attractions to see. Not only did he accomplish my list, but took us to additional places that I didn't even knew existed.

A day in Interlaken to always remember
Chris and his chocolates made us all have the sweetest immersive experience for our fantastic tour! The full day was stress free from pickup to drop off (even when we changed our drop off point!) We were able to see and speak with wood carvers and chocolateries, enjoyed lunch at the beautiful Giessbach hotel beside a waterfall and the serene lake. The towns we visited with his vast knowledge and quick humor made us feel like we were spending the day with a close family friend. We truly had a blast visiting all the highlights , but a true Interlaken immersive experience included the all the extra special places Chris allowed us to experience. Thank you Typically Swiss Tours for a day to always remember. And we almost forgot the money shots and his photography skills !
