Dermatopathology, as the link between diagnostics, treatment, teaching, and research, represents a strategically important medical focus of the clinic. Your Profile Board-certified dermatologist with completed subspecialty training in dermatopathology, or board-certified pathologist with expertise in dermatopathology. Diploma in Dermatopathology (ICDP - UEMS International Board Certification in Dermatopathology) or aquiration in the near future. Responsibility for providing high-quality dermatopathology. Application of molecular pathological diagnostics to solve dermatological and dermatopediatric requests. Interest in academic dermatology. You communicate confidently in German. Knowledge of French is of advantage. What we offer Accredited dermatopathology laboratory processing and evaluating over 20,000 skin biopsy specimens and excisions annually, including paraffin-fixed material, frozen sections (Mohs surgery), and a broad range of ancillary stains. Close collaboration with the Institute of Pathology, University of Bern, with access to comprehensive molecular diagnostics via the Clinical Genomics Laboratory at Inselspital.
