   The Glacier Express is one of Switzerland’s most famous scenic rail journeys, known for its panoramic views and relaxed pace through the heart of the Alps. Between Brig and Chur, the train climbs from the Rhône Valley to the high Alpine landscapes of the Oberalp Pass, the highest point of the route at 2,033 meters. Along the way, passengers enjoy views of traditional mountain villages, forests, and wide alpine valleys.
