Ascend to the highest mountain in Europe - Mont Blanc (4080m) the Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix offers a 360-degree viewpoint over the French, Swiss and Italian Alps and is the highest point accessible by cable car in Europe. At the summit, there are several viewing terraces, a cafeteria and a souvenir shop- Remember to bring warm clothes, sun cream and a camera, this is once and lifetime experience not to be forgotten.

The Montenvers railway starts from Chamonix and within 20 minutes reaches the the Mer de Glace (1,913m), France’s largest glacier (7km long, 200m thick). The Mer De Glace translates as the ‘Sea of Ice’ and is one of the most stunning views in the Alps. Visitors can also descend into the Ice caves that are sculpted into the glacier.

Reliable transfer
The transfer service provided by Alpine Fleet for pre-dawn departure from Argentière was exceptional. Reliability is the primary concern for airport transfers and this experience delivered on all fronts. I’m especially appreciative because of my previous bad experiences with other companies. Alpine Fleet is highly recommended for travelers in the Chamonix Valley looking for a dependable connection to GVA.
