This experience is provided by a private local. The group size is up to 8 people. Discover the City of Art! Find out the different cultural and artistic characteristics that makes this city unique, and enjoy the buzzing community and city ambiance! Whether you are visiting Basel as a returning tourist who wants to get to know the city a bit better, or if this is your first time, this Experience is for you! While walking the streets of Basel and looking at the amazing, unique street art, or getting to know more about the city’s galleries and museums, you will hear about street-art artists as well as contemporary artists and their close connection to Basel. I will share with you the art and cultural world of my city, where you will see, hear, and experience how colourful and multifaceted Basel is!

   The bridge was opened in 1226 - it is one of the oldest Rhine crossings between Lake Constance and the North Sea.

   We will end the Experience here and you can then continue on your own to discover the rest of Basel.

• Public transportation options are available nearby
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Please arrive 15 min before the start of the experience. The experience starts on time and for organisational reasons there can be no waiting. Important: To confirm the meeting point (there may be deviations!) and time, please provide your mobile phone number so that the Local can reach you. Also have your ticket with you to show the Local at the beginning of the Experience. The itinerary and stops may vary depending on the wish of the travellers and the walking pace as well as the weather!
