In order to provide operations and maintenance support of the Salt telecommunication network, we are currently looking for a qualified and motivated Field Technician As a member of the team, you will provide support to other Field Technicians and Team Leaders. You are going to resolve complex network faults and provide system troubleshooting and support first node software Introductions and software upgrades. Your duties Operate and maintain Transmission Network. Maintain Radio Access Network equipment including indoor and outdoor equipment. (This task will involve climbing masts to perform tests and resolve faults) Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve, network faults, network performance issues and other problems in line with Service Level Agreement. Optimize the network involving updating database tools, configuring of on-site configuration and installations. Perform installation/de-installation of equipment and infrastructure. Provide support to resolve faults and general problems to other colleagues. 24x7 On-call Rota What you bring Required Education and Professional Experience: Preferably electrician, telematic or similar education Climbing skills and ability to work at height Valid B driving license Required Skills and Behaviours: Customer Orientation: A strong commitment to prioritizing customer needs while ensuring actions align with business profitability. Planning & Organization: Approaches tasks methodically, estimating time accurately and consistently meeting deadlines, even when handling multiple tasks. Problem-Solving: Tackles challenges proactively, making decisions based on thoughtful evaluations of available options and potential outcomes. Independence: Demonstrates the ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively as a team member. Adaptability: Quickly adjusts to new information and circumstances, effectively managing multiple tasks. Versatility: Willingness to work in various weather conditions and travel to different locations as required.
